Conceived on a long Saturday afternoon while sleep escaped eyes and conversation flowed like soft breezes, the Jewish Literary Journal is a direct response to the lack of avenues for publishing pieces that are Jewish in nature. Within a short span it was determined that if the mountain wouldn’t come to Muhammed, then…or is that inappropriate here? The Jewish Literary Journal is here to help foster and publicize the unique(ly) Jewish voice espoused through creative writing (they don’t call us people of the book for nothing!), including those that may be difficult to relate with if one is unfamiliar with the religion or culture. Please enjoy and share responsibly.
